ESCAPING ETERNAL PUNISHMENT

 

Escaping Eternal Punishment

The world is a temporary place. Nobody will take a certificate, money, house, car, husband, wife, children out of this world. The only thing you will take out of this world is your soul. 1 Timothy6:6-7 says “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out”. So after you leave this world what will you present to God? Mind you at the end time which we are today, God said fire will be use to destroy the world (2Peter2:2-9; 3:5-8). 

Then what shall we do now? How shall we escape the eminent danger that awaits the world? The answer is by receiving the certificate of salvation which Jesus Christ gives through His death on the cross and resurrection. God said without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin (Hebrew 9:22). The blood of animals God has rejected (Hebrew10:4-10) therefore the only blood for the remission of the sin of the world is the precious blood of Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God (John1:29). Jesus therefore died once and for all to reunite us back to God and helped us to escape the eternal hot judgement of God. He said it is finished on the cross as he shed His blood (John19:30). When He resurrected the third day he said all power in Heaven and on earth is given to Him (Matthew 28:19). This means devils, demons and spirit or human agents of darkness have no power over those that accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal saviour. 

Today is your day. Do not hardened your heart again (Hebrew 3: 8,13) Jesus Loves You; John 3:16-21 says For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. 

Remember your pastor, prophets, professors, ancestors, parents, friends or families will not stand for you on the judgement day. 2 Corinthians 5:10 says For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Hebrew 9:27 also says; And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Escape now, Say this prayer of salvation and confession: Almighty God, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I know that am a sinner, forgive me my sins; I believe you came to this world, you died for me on the cross and you resurrected the third day. I accept you as my Lord and my personal saviour. Give me the Holy Spirit so that I will live a holy life; write my name in the book of life so that I will live with you forever. Thank you very much for accepting me, for I prayed in Jesus Christ name. NOW that you are saved;

Do these three things daily: 1. Read your bible Josh1:8, 2Tim2:15 2. Pray fervently Luk18:1, 1Thes5:17 and through Jesus Christ alone not angles, apostles, or His earthly parents John14:6 3. Attend a Bible obeying church Heb10:25 be punctual in weekly programmes and obey. Welcome to the heavenly family of holiness. Do this assignment; study the book of John to know more about; i. Who is Jesus Christ? ii. What must I do as a child of God? iii. What must I stop as a child of God?
